UAB “Valstybės investicinis kapitalas” successfully redeemed its largest debt securities issue to date

On September 22, 2025, UAB Valstybės investicinis kapitalas successfully redeemed bonds worth EUR 50 million in accordance with all the terms and conditions set by institutional investors. This is the largest issue of securities by the company to date, listed on the Nasdaq securities market.

The non-equity debt securities were distributed in two tranches: EUR 30 million was distributed on September 15, 2021, at a yield of 0.045%, and bonds worth €20 million were distributed on November 25, 2021, at a yield of 0.05%.

The securities were issued through the Nasdaq Vilnius Stock Exchange, which contributes to the effective participation of institutional and private investors in the capital market. The company’s bond issues under the approved program were assigned an A rating by Fitch, and the securities were included in the European Central Bank’s (ECB) secondary market purchase program.

The Ministry of Finance provided a state guarantee for the bond issues issued by UAB Valstybės investicinis kapitalas. Following the successful redemption of the securities and settlement with investors, the state guarantee has expired.

The capital raised was invested in the Pagalbos Verslui fondas, which was intended for large and medium-sized enterprises affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. It should be noted that the investment fund’s activities were not only related to mitigating the economic consequences, but also to the sustainable development and recovery of companies operating in Lithuania after the pandemic. The company successfully achieved its main goal – to stimulate the capital market by providing institutional investors with the opportunity to invest sustainably in instruments aimed at the development of the Lithuanian economy and infrastructure.
