UAB “Valstybės investicinis kapitalas” Bond Programme Maintains A+ Credit Rating

UAB “Valstybės investicinis kapitalas”’s approved EUR 400,000,000 medium-term bond programme maintains its A+ credit rating. Following a review of the securities programme, the international credit rating agency Fitch Ratings stated that the high credit rating confirms the strong level of security of the Issuer’s bond programme and its timely fulfilment of financial obligations.

It should be noted that the renewed securities programme is intended to finance investments aimed at strengthening Lithuania’s defence and security industry. Funds raised through the capital markets will be allocated to investments in the defence and security industry being developed in the Republic of Lithuania. The company has made a strategic decision to invest up to EUR 71.05 million in the artillery ammunition plant of UAB “Rheinmetall Defence Lietuva”.

The new artillery ammunition plant will manufacture 155 mm artillery shells for the armed forces of Lithuania and other NATO member states.
