UAB Valstybės Investicinis Kapitalas  is a state-owned company whose debt securities are listed on the NASDAQ Vilnius stock exchange. The company was established in 2020. Pursuant to Government Resolution No 512, the company acts as a long-term partner in the capital markets, attracting private capital, issuing debt securities and investing in areas where the strategic decisions of today shape a sustainable future for Lithuania.

Our business model is based on sustainability, financial responsibility and returns for the state. Our main priority is investments that strengthen national security, the defence ecosystem and economic resilience.

Core business activities:

Management and supervision of state-owned property transferred to UAB „Valstybės investicinis kapitalas“.

Financing of legal persons or other entities and participation in their activities, including establishment.
Issuance of bonds and other non-equity securities, with or without a state guarantee.
Attracting private investment in the country’s strategic projects.

Capital

The company’s authorised capital amounts to EUR 101.2 million – 10,120,000 ordinary registered shares, each with a nominal value of EUR 10.
According to the founders’ agreement of 7 August 2020, the shareholder contributed EUR 100.2 million, forming an issue of 10,020,000 shares.
An additional EUR 1 million was contributed on 30 December 2020 for capital increase.
Another capital increase was registered on 17 March 2021, when 100,000 new shares were issued. All issues are fully paid.
UAB „Valstybės investicinis kapitalas“ was a limited partner in KŪB Pagalbos Verslui Fondas (State Aid Fund for Business), in which EUR 200 million was invested after the successful completion of the first stage.
