UAB Valstybės Investicinis Kapitalas Debt Securities Maintain Fitch A Credit Rating

Following its annual review, the global credit rating agency Fitch Ratings has left the rating given to UAB Valstybės Investicinis Kapitalas’s EUR 400 million bond programme as is.

After UAB Valstybės Investicinis Kapitalas approved the EUR 400 million non-equity debt securities (bonds) programme in 2021, the programme was awarded an A credit rating from Fitch Ratings. Following the annual review, the A credit rating remains unchanged for 2024 as well.

The securities issued through the Nasdaq Vilnius Stock Exchange are invested in the State Aid Fund for Business, which supports economic and business recovery from the coronavirus pandemic. It should be noted that the bonds were initially placed with a state guarantee and were targeted at professional investors. These bonds are part of the European Central Bank’s (ECB) secondary market purchase programme.

Maintaining a high bond rating bolsters investor confidence in UAB Valstybės Investicinis Kapitalas as an issuing institution and opens the door to new investments through the capital market in the future. It should be noted that a high credit rating indicates that the bonds issued by UAB Valstybės Investicinis Kapitalas come with a high level of security, and that financial obligations are fulfilled in a timely manner.
